This is a high containment powder transfer system used for the weigh and dispense of APIs and polymers from drums to single-use bags. The integrated flexible isolator was equipped with HEPA filtrated negative pressure to ensure containment of less than 1µg/m³ is achieved during the transfer process. The integrated Drum Tipper ergonomically positions the drum for easy transfer of the material. The Ezi-Dock split connection technology is used to create a contained disconnection of the single use bag. The intermediate single use bag was then transported to the solution prep tank for safe and contained charging. To validate the containment of the process Rheo conducted IH containment testing in accordance with SMEPAC guidelines at the time of the FAT (Factory Acceptance Test).
